So a week or so back I was invited to have a little chat with a band called Neon Trees, they’re a new indie rock style band hailing from Utah, USA. so I trundled down to the HMV Forum in Kentish Town and hooked up with the guys in a small backstage dressing room, you have probably heard their current single streaming over our airwaves called “Animal” and their album “Habits” is also out now!  So check out the interview and check out their tunes

So much has happened since you were last updated, so let’s get on that. The RUSU elections have kicked off. You may not have noticed much of a presence on campus yet, but I’m sure you’ve been inundated with requests and notifications on Facebook. Some pretty rad posters are up already, I’m sure you’ll agree.

We’ve teamed up with RU:ON and Spark* to provide a complete coverage of the elections, and you’ll hear and see all kinds of things on our brand new joint website, www.rusumedia.co.uk, over the coming weeks. On the night itself both Junction11 and RU:ON will be streaming live, with interviews with the winners, discussion panels and, of course, the results themselves.

You can rock on down to 360 from 7 pm on the night (Friday 4th March), or join in the party earlier when Junction11 will be broadcasting from a packed Mojos between 3 and 6. At the very least you can participate through twitter (#rusuelections) or our live discussion box on www.rusumedia.co.uk.

We’ll be giving you more information as and when we have it, as well details on the campaigns as they develop through NewsJunction, our podcasts, and videos on RU:ON.
